Stow is considering a new Comprehensive Plan
We get a lot of feedback about land use. Zoning is jointly controlled by city council and the planning commission. But we can’t just act on a whim. We look to the city’s comprehensive plan for guidance, and we seek to act in harmony with it.
The most recent Comprehensive Plan is from 2001. Over the last year, the City hired a consultant and sought community feedback on how to update it. This month, City Council reviewed an update to the plan. Click here (Comp Plan Planning Committee Mtg9-16-17) to view a Powerpoint of the highlights of the new plan.
