Thank you

Posted on November 4, 2020 (November 4, 2020) by Mike Rasor

The way I see it: There are no bad days; there are only character-building days. I ran for Clerk of Courts because I could do better than the current regime and the current Clerk is too liberal — even for a blue county like Summit. However, I also believe in math; a Republican wins a […]

Gov. DeWine’s Stay-at-Home order

Posted on March 22, 2020 (March 22, 2020) by Mike Rasor

On Sunday at 2 p.m., Governor DeWine issued a stay-at-home order (the “Order”), to take effect 11:59 p.m. Monday, continuing through April 6. Here is the order: Stay at Home Order – 3-22-20 In General Although the scope is very broad, the exceptions are equally expansive. The plan has support from the Ohio Chamber of […]

Friends:

For the past two years, I have been looking for the next mission to reform government–to make it transparent, accountable, and fiscally conservative.

I believe I have found it.

The Stow Clerk of Court’s office has been traditionally underperforming, by just about any measuring stick. It has lacked managerial direction, technical competence, and cannot seem to run without annual budget increases.

What does that mean for you, as a taxpayer? The more money that is sucked up by the Clerk’s office equates to less money coming back into our communities (like Stow, Hudson, and Cuyahoga Falls) for police and road repairs.

Heaven forbid, you have to wait in line at the Stow Clerk’s office. You might as well bring a book and one of those neck pillows. The customer experience is horrendous. We can do better!

In spite of the great logical arguments for change, this is a toss-up district. In the past decade, it has gone Red and it has gone Blue. To win, we will need an all-in effort from our supporters.

I’m grateful and humbled to be in a position to serve the best region of the best state of the best nation in the world, God-willing.

Very truly yours,

Mike
